What is a Zip File?

The standard way to package a set of clip art or images in order for them to be downloaded is a zip file.  

A zip file enables your clip art to be packaged and downloaded more conveniently for you in two ways:

1. The file size is smaller, enabling quicker download;

2. The images are downloaded all together in one file.  This is especially helpful if there are a lot of images in the set.

Most modern computers have the ability to unzip files built in.  If you have an older computer, you may need to download some software to enable you to open the zipped file.

What is the payment process and is it secure?

All payments are processed securely through PayPal, the global leader in secure online payment  processes.  PayPal has received more than 20 awards for excellence from the Internet industry and the business community.

If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still check out through the PayPal checkout page using your credit card.

Can I use your clip art in teaching resources that I sell on TeachersPayTeachers and TeachersNotebook?

Yes!  Our clip art is designed to help teachers create fantastic teaching resources and educational games.  You may sell the resources you create on TeachersPayTeachers, Teachers Notebook, similar teaching sites, and on your own website. You MAY NOT sell the clip art as is, or in another clip art collection - they must be a part of something you have created.

Credit is required (unless you purchase a special "no-credit-required" license).  You can give credit in text form or with the "licensed by" graphic included with the clip art set. Where possible, please link the credit image or text to www.dancingcrayon.com

How does the clip art download process work?  

Once you have made a payment for your clip art, you are taken to a page containing the link to your download.  Simply click on the link and save the file to your computer.  In addition, you will also be sent an email containing the download links.  (All files are delivered in a zip file and need to be unzipped to use them.  Click here for more information on zip files.)

You can also access the download links from the "My Account" tab at the top of the Dancing Crayon website.  

(Be sure to note where you are saving the clip art to on your computer.  Choosing "save as" rather than just "save" gives you more control over where the files are going to be saved to on your computer.)

To try out the download process before purchase, simply put a free product in the cart and check out.  You do not need to enter any credit card details to access free products.

Your download links will be active for 3 days and willl allow you 3 attempts to download.  If you have any trouble with the downloading process, please contact us.

Can I share your clip art?

No.  Our clip art is to be used by the original purchaser of the files only.  If you need multiple license discounts, please contact us.

You may NOT share our free clip art.  Please direct people to our site to download their own copies of any free clip art.  It is illegal to take our free or paid clip art and upload it on to another website, or to share a direct link to the files for others to access.  You may certainly share a  link to the clip art page so people can download their own copy from Dancing Crayon Designs.

Will my purchase be mailed to me?

No, all of our products are digital files that you have access to download after purchase. No items are sent in the mail.

How do I download the free products?

To download the free resources, simply add them to your cart and go through the checkout process.  You will not have to provide any credit card details if your order total is $0.00.  You will need to register with us and provide a valid email address as the links to your free product downloads will be sent to you via email.  If you do not receive this email, try looking in your spam or junk folder and add us to your safe sender list.  You can also access your free product download links by signing in and looking under "my account".  On this page you can view previous orders and if the download links are still current, you can access them here. 

Will there be a watermark on the images I purchase?

No.  The watermark is on the preview pictures in order to protect them from unauthorized use.  The previews are also low-resolution images.  The images you purchase will be crisp and clear, high quality 300 dpi images free of any watermarks.

Do you take requests for clip art?

We welcome your requests for clip art sets you'd like to see added to our site, however, we do get more requests than we are able to take on.  Please feel free to use the 'contact us' page to send in a request and if we are able to add it to our catalog, we'll let you know.

How Do I Enter a Coupon Code?

If you have a coupon code for Dancing Crayon Designs be sure to click "View Cart" before checking out.  (If you go straight to PayPal checkout without first viewing the cart, you will miss the page to enter the code.)

When you choose "View Cart", you will see a place to enter the code in the upper right-hand side panel.  Once you enter a valid code, you'll see the price adjust in your cart.

How Do I Redeem a Gift Certificate?

To redeem a gift certificate, click on "View Cart".  You will find the place to enter your gift certificate details in the upper right-hand side panel.
