Peas in a Pod - Clip Art Peas in a Peapod

Peas in a Pod! There are lots of ways this clip art set can be used creatively to create teaching resources and games.

There is blank space on the peas and the pea pod where text or other content can be added to make educational games. Fantastic for making games that encourage sorting, observation, classification, etc. Also perfect for center activities.

Make a pea pod 'pocket' by placing the half-pod image over the full pod and staple or glue along the bottom edge. Peas can then sit in the pod.

Here's just two examples of teaching games that could be made with this clip art set:

Peas in a Pod - Rhyming words: write words that rhyme on the peas and write the word family on the peapod. Children match the peas to the correct pea pod.

Peas in a Pod - Math: Write equations on the peas and a number on the pods. Children can sort the peas that all have the same numerical answer into the pea pods. (Why not have the children create their own peapod with equations that all have the same answer!)
