Feed the Monkey Clip Art

These cheeky little monkeys are hungry for some nice ripe bananas and apples.

This clip art set has been created especially for designing teaching activities and games (classroom use and commercial use). Children enjoy feeding the apples and bananas to the monkey.

How to Use:

- Print out and paste the monkey graphic on to a cereal box or similar.

- Cut a slot in the mouth.

- Write words or answers on the fruit pieces (using a concept you wish to focus on - see below for some examples.)

- Give each child a piece of the clipart fruit. When they have the piece with the correct answer written on it, they come up and feed it to the monkey.


This "Feed the Monkey" Clip Art Set contains the following graphics:

- Monkey images in brown, purple, pink, blue, and orange.
- Monkey face - (brown only)
- Monkey head and shoulders (brown) - use this one to paste onto a tissue box so the posted fruit goes into the slot in the box.

- Red apple, green apple, and banana clipart pieces
- Page of multiple fruit pieces ready to print out and write on

- Lineart of monkey, apple, banana, and multiple fruit pages.

Images are provided in both JPEG (white background) and PNG (transparent background) file formats. The pages of fruit are in JPEG only.

This clip art set is versatile and could be used in many different activities.

Some ideas for use are:

Counting game: If the monkey ate 3 apples and 4 bananas - how many pieces of fruit would he have eaten? Count them as they're fed to the monkey.

Center Activity: Make multiple monkeys and write a concept on the front of each. Children feed the fruit to the relevant monkey. For example: two monkeys - one with "odd numbers" written on his tummy, the other with "even numbers" written on his tummy. Write numbers on the fruit pieces for children to sort / feed to the correct monkey.

Questions and answers: Write the answers on the fruit pieces and give one to each child. When the child realizes they have the correct answer, they come and feed the fruit to the monkey.

Rhyming Words: The monkey is hungry for words that rhyme with "bed".

The possibilities are limited only by your imagination! Have fun creating!
